The dragons of the world guard the origin points for magic. Human wizards covet the magical loci and many scheme to do whatever they can to seize even pieces of the natural magic.

To keep the peace between dragons and humans is the dragon mage, a human bestowed the powers of dragons, but who is supported by the noble born humans. Talia, the current dragon mage, would rather do anything but play political peacekeeper.

Nobles report their daughters missing and blame is placed on the dragons. Talia is sent to investigate and determine whether the dragons are breaking the various peace agreements of the world.

Each dragon reports being plagued by inescapable, unquenchable lust since a meteor shower. Talia begins work on a cure for the dragons' hypersexuality to keep them from abducting sexual partners from the human settlements so tensions de-escalate.
